Changes to Maternity Ward access and visiting times – Monday 29 June

On Monday 29 June, the Ward C23 (Maternity Ward) entrance will be closed from 6pm until approximately midnight to allow essential flooring works to take place.
During this time, the usual evening visiting hours (6:30pm to 8pm) will not take place. Instead, daytime visiting hours will be extended from 1pm to 5:30pm.
This temporary closure will not affect the care provided to families on the ward. Our midwifery team will continue to deliver care as usual.
Birth partners can remain on the ward during this time. However, if they leave, they will not be able to re-enter until the main doors reopen.
Access to the Neonatal Unit will not be affected.
