Ward C20 - Gynaecology

General introduction

C20 is a gynaecology ward providing 14 beds, comprising two bays of six beds and two cubicles. Use of cubicles is dependent on clinical priority and patient moves may be requested.

The ward treats patients requiring gynaecological surgery / procedures, and problems of early pregnancy for women up to 18 weeks pregnant. 

Attached to C20 is the four-bed Gynaecology Assessment Unit (GAU).
