ANCHOR study

Help to see if we can prevent influenza (the flu) in people who might become very unwell from it. 

The Halton Clinical Research Centre is looking for participants to test a new medicine designed to help protect adults at higher risk from developing serious complications due to flu infection.

If you have received the NHS flu vaccine, are at least 12 years old and have any of the following conditions, you may be eligible to take part:

• asthma, COPD, chronic bronchitis, or other respiratory conditions
• a history of heart disease
• diabetes treated with insulin
• chronic kidney disease
• any malignancy and/or receiving treatment
• receiving regular immunosuppressives treatment
• history of organ transplant
