Maternity information event

This event is hosted in collaboration with Walking Mums. 

Come along to this free information event to explore your maternity services and discover the support available to you. 

If you are expecting a baby in Warrington or Halton, come along to meet the maternity team, find out more about your journey through pregnancy to parenthood, explore local support services, and meet other parents-to-be.

There will be midwives, support workers and representatives from partner agencies and services to share information about:

• Maternal vaccines – find out more about how vaccinations in pregnancy can protect your baby
• Antenatal classes and education
• Perinatal physio
• Infant feeding
• Smoking support
• Birth options – learn more about the options available, including home birth
• Sling library – learn how to use slings and carriers and find out more about the Supportive Sloths
• Dad Matters – explore support for new dads including mental health, bonding and supporting partners
• Plus other local support groups

Come along with your birthing partner to learn more and ask any questions you may have.
