Rybrook Jaguar, Warrington delivered some welcome Christmas cheer to Warrington Hospital’s Children’s Ward this week, in the form of presents for the wards young patients.

Vicky Hewitt, Head of Marketing at Rybrook Jaguar said: “Christmas is a very special time for children and we all have magical festive memories from our own childhoods. But we should remember that a few unlucky children will have to spend the holidays being looked after in hospital.

“With that in mind we felt the children’s ward at our local hospital in Warrington was the perfect place to spread a bit of extra Christmas cheer. So we’ve put together a package of Christmas gifts for the children and young people on the ward, including snuggies and snuggle bunnies, t-shirts and baseball caps, as well as aftershave and makeup for the teens.”

Jill Holland, Play Specialist at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We try to get as many children home over the holidays as we can, but sadly children don’t stop being poorly at Christmas. We always have some young patients staying with us over the festive period and our staff always do their utmost to make the ward cheerful and festive as possible.

“Gifts like these really do help us make that happen and we can’t thank Rybrook Jaguar enough for thinking of our children and for their generosity and kindness.”
