Hospital to Open its Doors to the Public
and hold Annual General Meeting for 2019
Members of the public are welcome to take a look behind the scenes at Cheshire & Merseyside’s leading Orthopaedic Centre (CMTC) during an open day at the Halton Hospital site 12-4pm on Wednesday 11 September 2019.
The region’s leading Orthopaedic surgeons will be on hand to offer help and advice to those interested in joint care, joined by a team of therapists and support staff. Visitors will be able to tour the state-of-the art operating theatres and see what happens before, during and after surgery.
A tour of the resuscitation suite provides the opportunity to watch a demonstration by these amazing teams in action – and pick up a few tips that could one day save a life! For those wanting to learn more about a career in the NHS, WHH Apprenticeships will be on hand to give you advice and tell you everything that you need to know.
Two workshops are taking place, at 1:30pm and 2:30pm to help develop a new Patient Experience Strategy for 2020-2023 asking ‘What matters to Me?’ and patients, carers, family members, members of the public and staff are all encouraged to attend one of two 50min sessions at Halton Education Centre on the same site. Our midwives will also be in attendance sharing information and gathering views on our planned new birth centre; as will our new hospitals teams for both Warrington and Halton estate.
All are welcome to attend the Trust’s Annual General Meeting at 4pm in the Education Centre. On-site parking will be free for all those visiting the event and all venues are fully accessible.
