Warrington and Halton Hospitals

Outpatient waiting times

We are committed to seeing you as soon as possible if you are referred to our services. We're very proud of our short waiting times at our hospitals.

These times are the maximum wait for a routine outpatient appointment at our hospitals in key specialties.

The majority of outpatient appointments are seen much sooner than these maximum times but we publish these times to give you a clear and honest guide.

Urgent and cancer referrals

Urgent referrals are seen as a priority and are seen sooner. Every referral for any appointment to give a diagnosis for anything that could be a suspected cancer is seen within an absolute maximum of two weeks from referral by your GP.
